April 7, 2003: Terra Novum would like to take this opportunity to announce that Thomas Bolioli has has been chosen to chair the Information Technology Committee of the Environmental Business Council of New England and to invite all of you to the first meeting (Thursday May 15th) under our new name (was formally named the Internet Committee) and mission. This first meeting will be held at the Massachussetts Department of Environmental Protection's offices in downtown Boston at One Winter Street. As detailed below, the meeting will focus on looking back on the first phase of MA-DEP's ambitious eDEP project to bring all of DEP's forms and permitting online to cut costs and streamline interaction with the state government agency. Over the next few meetings, the IT committee will begin to focus on using IT to manage information storage and communication as well as feature technologies such as GIS for information display and analysis.
